I purchased my first pair of Golden Goose sneakers a few months ago (you might remember seeing them in a recent post), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I thought it was time for a full review! I’ve also broken them in well that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see broken down further.

Where were you able to get your pair?

Placed my order on April 28th and they were shipped to me by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast and that’s a win in my book

How expensive are they?

I snagged a pair for $385.43, though they usually go for around $513.91.

Golden Goose sneakers typically cost anywhere between $400 to nearly $1,700, depending on how detailed they are.

Are they true to size?

They ran true to size for me golden goose mens sneaker — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a European 36.

Since they keep their shape and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d recommend sizing up.

How comfy are they?

Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..

How durable are they?

They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.

How do they compare to other sneakers?

Nothing else compares in comfort or quality. I love my Vejas and Tretorns, but Golden Goose are just on another level. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Next-level.

Would you buy again?

Totally! Though I suggest looking for a deal. They cost a lot, so getting them discounted is a better idea. They’re worth the investment, especially if you find a style that suits you. I chose a loud pair, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. Nothing has torn, and the structure feels strong.
