Distribution Food Basket

NaHA selected the most vulnerable and previously unassisted IDPs in collaboration
with the State Ministry of Social Affairs, the Sudanese Relief and Humanitarian Aid
Agency (SARHO), the IDP Committee and the local branch of the Emergency
Department. Fifty families were selected after analyzing data from among 70 families
collected during the household survey inside the Atta Almanan shelter center in a
primitive manner using the Kobo toolkit. Fifty families were selected from among 1,200
IDPs from El Fasher currently living in Atta Almanan School in the North Nyala Derig
area. Food items were distributed to 50 beneficiary families without any logistical
problem.
